“Drawing the Line” at the Haydon Art Center
The Friends of the Haydon Art Center are planning an exciting fundraising event happening Friday, May 30 from 6pm to 9pm at the Haydon Art Center. “Drawing the Line” will feature artwork donated by 100 artists and local celebrities. Each piece measures 12” x 12” and features the artists’ interpretation of “ line”. A Special Exhibition opens at the Haydon Art Center at 335 No. 8th St. on May 27th and will be shown until the evening of the event on May 30th.
With the purchase of a “Patron of the Arts” $100 ticket, will receive a work of art in the “Drawing the Line” Benefit exhibition through a random drawing that will take place that evening. Those who wish to attend and not receive artwork may purchase tickets for $25. Couples who would like to receive a work of art may attend for $125. Refreshments will be served.
“Drawing the Line” Benefit is a celebration of the works of regional artists involved in the production and promotion of the arts. The mission of the Haydon Art Center is to provide innovative educational programming, exhibitions and outreach to engage a wide variety of audiences in the visual arts.
